Young Broadcasters: Ages 9-12

Be a broadcaster! From Morse code to digital media and everything in between, students will learn the basics of mass communication and broadcasting in a fun, creative, and hands-on way.
Students will explore their curiosity and imagination by recording and editing their culturally themed projects using iPads and interactive editing apps. We will use a green screen to record the weather forecast and take part in other fun activities. In this camp, students will learn how to use the internet and interact with social media safely and with journalistic integrity.

Broadcasting content is taught between 9a.m. and 3:30pm, with extended day care included in the camp price (from 7:30a.m.-9a.m. and 3:30pm - 6:30pm).
